Does your child need help to meet and socialise with other children?

​

We designed the social skills program to develop and enhance social interaction skills, social awareness, and self-esteem in children aged 5-6 years and 7-9 years. The program will be a 90-minute 5-day intensive program at the Best Team OT center at 53 Alfred Street Rozelle, from the 10th of Jan - 14th Jan 2022.

Children will learn a range of;

  • Social Skills

  • Communication Skills

  • Problem-Solving Skills

  • Creativity & Innovation Skills

Creative Class

Day 1: Nature Play Activities 

​

Make your own Mobile using natural elements including leaves, twigs, dried plants and flowers, gum nuts etc. Decorate your own paper pintables supplied by Art Play Project 

Day 2: Sensory Play Activities 

​

  • Activities involving Playdough/slime

  • Sensory box play 

  • Mindfulness activity

     - Water balloons
     - Calming jars 

Day 3: Paper Crafts and Paper Collaging 

​

Making colourful bookmarks and other fun wall decorations 

Day 4: Creating Sculptures 

​

Create 3D art using recycled cardboard
and mixed media. Paint supplied.

Day 5: Painting Activities

​

  • Painting on canvas with brushes and quirky objects 

  • Painting on their own rock

Allied Health Programs


Art Play Project has collaborated with Occupational Therapist, Angela Johnson to create a Social Skills Program for children aged 4-5 years. We designed this program to develop and enhance social interaction skills, social awareness, and self-esteem in children.

We have ensured our programs, classes and activities have specific outcomes that enable children and adults to achieve their goals. Some outcomes of the activities include;
